|More About Our Family
Our Special Interests
We are excited to spend winters teaching your child to sled ride, build snowmen, make snow angels and all about football and hockey! In the summer, we look forward to walking the neighborhood, playing in the backyard, going to ball games, and teaching your child how to fish. We enjoy Pittsburgh sports, attending standup comedy shows and spending time with our daughter, friends, and family. We like to stay busy but really appreciate a relaxing weekend at home with a bonfire in the backyard.
Lisa was raised Methodist and Frank was raised Catholic. We married in the Catholic Church and will raise our children Catholic. Faith is an important part of our lives and we have a great respect for God.
Our Musical Interest
We love music of all genres and can often be found dancing in the living room or kitchen together. Lisa's favorite music is 90s pop and country with some metal thrown in. Frank lets Lisa be the DJ but is often caught singing Disney tunes to our daughter.
We have one dog named Bazinga, whom we named after a catch phrase in the show, The Big Bang Theory. He's goofy and lovable and excellent with children. We've gotten many compliments on how he interacts with Victoria and our friends' children. We also have three cats named Tom, Jerry and Paige. Tom and Jerry are brothers and are incredibly friendly. Jerry is Victoria's favorite and he will sit for hours letting her pet him (if she would sit that long, of course). Paige is an adorable, tiny white and calico cat that is very shy. We very much love pets and all types of animals! Lisa even used to have two ferrets!
More about our daughter, Victoria
We adopted our daughter, Victoria, and have a wonderful open adoption with her birth family, that include pictures, texts, and visits. We took Victoria to visit her birth parents this summer and even got to spend some time with her biological grandmothers. Victoria has an easy going personality, loves to laugh and make others laugh. She truly would be a wonderful big sister and I can't wait for her to share her enthusiasm and unconditional love with a sibling.
More about our families!
We were both raised with the same values that we brought into our marriage and those values have kept us strong and laid a great foundation for our family. We look forward to sharing those values with your child.
Lisa’s parents are ecstatic to dote on a second grandchild. Lisa’s mom i enjoying retirement, which allows her to spend more time with her grandchildren. Lisa’s brother wants to be the “cool” uncle that always has candy or a dollar in his pocket for when he visits.
Even though most of Frank's siblings live out of state, we get to see them regularly, which keeps everyone close. It's wonderful that his parents only live 10 minutes from us and Frank’s nieces and nephews are looking forward to adding another youngster to their clan as well! They almost have enough cousins to field an entire baseball game in the backyard!
We live in the state of...
We live in Pennsylvania and are close to a big city with lots of places to visit, especially with children. We love living in the suburbs and only being a short drive to museums, stadiums, huge parks and other venues. You can often find us taking in a last minute baseball game or spending the morning at the zoo. It's a wonderful area to raise a family.
|We Prefer a Child Who Is...
Age of Child
We are open to a child under 1 year of age.
We are open to either gender.
Ethnicity of Child
We are open to any ethnicity.
Future Contact with Birth Family
We are open to various types of communication and contact, including occasional visits, phone calls and private social media pages. We currently have a wonderful open relationship with our daughter's birth parents and would love to maintain another similar relationship.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us. We look forward to sharing our love for learning, our love of laughter, and everything in between with your child. We are excited about backyard cookouts and bedtime stories, trips to the zoo, and cherishing every moment and are excited to include your child in our adventures.
