We thank you for taking the time to get to know a little more about us as we anticipate the joy of expanding our family and becoming first-time parents through the miracle of adoption. We are honored to have the opportunity to share a little about ourselves and our sincere desire to provide a loving and nurturing home for a precious child. We hope that our story helps in your decision!
Who We Are
We are truly best friends and have known each other since childhood, through church. Our relationship spans back 7 wonderful years. Our marriage, now 2 years strong, has only deepened our commitment to building a family founded on love, care, and endless possibilities.
Our home is filled with love, not only from us but from our 4 beloved pets (2 dogs & 2 cats) – Ellie, Blue, Korra and Bear. They are a part of our lives and are sure to be the best playmates and companions for your child. We cherish quality time spent with our nieces and nephews, exploring places like the science center and local parks. Cooking, baking, and tending to our home not only bring us joy, but will become wonderful opportunities to bond with our child. Other things we enjoy doing together include going to the beach, traveling, and hosting movie nights with lots of popcorn! We are looking forward to enjoying these things with our future child.
Our faith is the largest part of our lives. We attend church weekly at our local parish and find strength and purpose in our spiritual community. We are committed to raising our child with strong values, a sense of compassion, and an understanding of the love that surrounds them, from us and from God.
About Trung (Written by Rachelle)
Trung is a kind and hard-working husband. He is incredibly passionate about his job as a Software Engineer in the aerospace industry. His company is gracious enough to provide a generous paternal leave on top of his role being remote, ensuring plenty of love and time to give to our child.
Outside of work, Trung loves staying active and adventurous with his hobbies including playing sports like tennis and soccer. He also enjoys taking care of our lawn, a quality of a great homemaker. His favorite activity is hanging out with our nieces and nephews and helping them do monkey bars at the park!
He grew up living with his extended family and always spent time with his younger cousin, whether it was teaching her to play piano or helping with her math homework. These are things he would love to do with our child, alongside other activities like going on bike rides, swimming in the pool, and visiting our local zoo. I have no doubt he will become a great father.
About Rachelle (Written by Trung)
Rachelle is very caring and nurturing. In our time together, she’s proven how important family is to her and that she can handle any problem or situation that may come her way. She has recently decided to go back to school to pursue her degree and she is working incredibly hard to receive her Bachelor’s in Nursing to become a Registered Nurse.
As for her hobbies, you will often find her in the kitchen, trying new recipes or baking new pastries she finds on YouTube. It always smells delicious in our home, and I know she is looking forward to doing these things with our little one.
Rachelle grew up as the eldest daughter in her family, with three younger siblings viewing her as their role model. She often was the one who watched over them and helped raise them. I truly could not think of someone more fitting for motherhood.
Our Home in Sunny Florida
Our home in sunny Florida is situated in a gated community that is filled with many other families. As you drive around our community, you will often see families going on walks, children riding their bikes, or people hanging out at our community pool.
Our home is a 4-bedroom new construction house with a fenced in yard, with plenty of space for our child to run around. It is in close distance to many local parks and even our downtown area with the best ice cream shop!
We live in Central Florida and as Disney Annual Passholders, we are looking forward to having our little one join us on our Disney days.
We have already started to prepare the nursery, equipped with items like a crib, stroller, and many toys.
Meet Our Family
Family is of the utmost importance to us. We both grew up with large families. Both our families are excited and supportive of this new addition to our family, and are eagerly waiting to spoil them with love and affection. Your child will grow up with companionship from not only our pets, but they will have 4 playful and loving cousins: 3 nieces and 1 nephew. We all celebrate holidays together, go on family trips, and truly enjoy one another’s company.

We want you to know that we are wholeheartedly committed to open communication with our child about their adoption story. They will grow up knowing they are loved by many.
We will raise our child with strong values of respect, empathy, and an appreciation for education. They will always feel loved by us and our extended family.
Adoption will forever be a part of our story, and we are grateful for the gift that it will bring to us and that God is entrusting us with.

| Our Take on Education | When it comes to education, we're all about making it exciting and tailored to your child's uniqueness. We understand that everyone learns at their own pace, so we'll be there to help them every step of the way. Outside of the classroom, we're ready to get your child into activities like gymnastics or soccer, or whatever peaks their interest. We'll create a space where learning is valued – cheering them on the entire way! | |
| Our Household | Our in-laws live with us and they're a big part of our culture where family bonds run deep. They're not just here to lend a hand with childcare (although they're amazing at it), they're also here to be our partners in this journey of becoming first-time parents. | What Open Adoption Means to Us... | Adoption has been on my (Rachelle) mind since my teenage years, as my parents raised me to be giving and compassionate. I approached Trung with this dream early into our relationship and without hesitation, we knew that this would be a journey we would take together in life.
